Sidney Hill has an extensive background in analytical science and GLP compliant documentation. CPS was delighted to have a technician of Sid's caliber joining their analytical laboratory team.

Sid's career began in 1969 when he joined DuPont as a chemistry technician with the Crop Protection Group at the DuPont Experimental Station. He assisted the scientists at DuPont with method development for residue analysis of crops, animal tissues, soil and water. He was present during the inception of the GLP regulations and has participated and maintained compliance with the GLP regulations ever since. He assisted in the relocation of the laboratories when the entire residue research group moved from the DuPont Experimental Station to the DuPont Stine-Haskell site in the year 2000. He has a spotless safety record and good understanding of laboratory safety.

He developed a broad knowledge of sample preparation and sample clean-up methods. In addition to sample preparation Sid was involved with multiple forms of instrumentation including: Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE), GC, GC/MS, HPLC/UV, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS. During his time with DuPont Sid had the responsibility to train many new technicians/scientists to the analytical techniques and instrumentation. Sid retired from DuPont in 2004 and is now using his important skills and knowledge at CPS.

Sid graduated from Wilmington High School in Delaware and joined the military shortly after graduation before joining DuPont.
