Margaret E. Schmuckler, M.A., is pleased to be working with Critical Path Services as an independent consultant in the areas of product chemistry and environmental fate.

During her 17-year career with DuPont, Margaret accomplished many goals including the establishment of the Physical Property Program in EFATE in response to new and diverse global regulatory requirements. This included leading the organization, implementation, and supervision of in-house and contracted capabilities to meet all physical property regulatory requirements. She has also acted as Study Director, Sponsor Representative and Annex II Dossier Author, initiated the applicability of estimation methods using computational chemistry in preparation of position papers, compiled and published a sulfonylurea herbicide vapor pressure paper and acted as the Product Technical Expert for numerous the active ingredients.

Among Margaret's other experience she has also used structure activity correlation to predict fungicidal activity, developed a soil fungicide screen, implemented a vapor pressure estimation program regression analysis and worked on several multidisciplinary teams in Discovery.

Margaret earned her M.A. in Chemistry with a major in Biochemistry from Bryn Mawr College of Arts and Sciences, Bryn Mawr, PA, where she studied under Dr. Kenneth Strothkamp.
